Enchanted Oracle - Fairy
Cards
The Enchanted Oracle is not a Tarot deck, but as it often happens with many oracle decks, it has been classified under Tarot decks. This is a fairy deck of 36 cards, featuring the lovely and fascinating art of fantasy artist Jessica Galbreth. The work represents her original watercolor artwork. The cards come boxed as a kit with an accompanying 217-page paperback guidebook written by Barbara Moore, a silver organza pouch to hold the cards, and a fairy pendant on a black ribbon that can be used as a pendulum and enchanted charm. The cards measure 2-3/4" x 4-5/8." They are printed with a matte finish. They are borderless with a black title bar at the bottom with the name of the card printed in white letters. Some of the images are light and whimsical, while others are dark and intense. The cards can be used as a tool for self-examination, advice, and guidance as a way for you to discover and claim the power to create your own destiny. The book is one that I have really enjoyed reading and exploring, as it has a lot to offer. Followed by notes from both the author and the artist at the beginning of the book, information on how to use this oracle is provided. For each card in the deck, a black and white image is presented with information and symbolism for that specific fairy being. An applicable oracle message follows the fairy information, and for most of the cards, an associated spell, enchantment, visualization, or journaling exercise is also included. Reversed cards are not discussed in the book, although the back of the cards leave themselves open for the possibilities to use reversals with this oracle. I think the reversals for this oracle would emphasize potential blocks, delays, or problem areas that might not allow the energy to flow as smoothly or as quickly as it would otherwise if the card appeared upright. So I do use reversals in this set, although I don't necessarily alter the meaning, but I let the reversal point out to me an area that needs work or something that might meet with delays or blockages.
