The Faerie Wisdom cards come as a book and card set. The cards themselves are rectangular, measuring approximately 4-3/8" wide by about 2-1/8" tall. You look at them horizontally rather than vertically as shown by the above sample card images. Each card presents the name and the season for the faerie, followed by a short message that represents the energy of that faerie. The accompanying 63-page paperback book offers some brief information for each fairie. The book also contains other useful information about the faeries in addition to a number of interesting card layouts. The book and the cards are packaged in an sturdy, attractive box. The cards are laminated, and they are easy to handle and shuffle. The delightful faerie kings, queens, mermaids, banshees, and more all have the desire and ability to answer questions about love, life, or the future. The book and the cards reveal various aspects of the faerie world and its lore . . . from the troll who lives under the earth, healing the roots of the trees, to mischief-making imps and pixies . . . and more.
