Each of the 44 cards of this fairy deck features a beautiful fairy painting and a short message of inspiration which is further elaborated on in the accompanying 109-page guidebook.  True to the traditional style of angel expert and author Doreen Virtue, this deck and book is packaged in an attractive, sturdy box which is perfect to keep the cards safely stored in when not in use.

The sturdy cards are glossy coated and measure 3-1/2" x 5".  A nice added touch to the cards is the gilt edging on the sides.

This fairy oracle covers a broad range of subjects from love life, career, finances, family, spiritual practices, dietary habits, timing with the seasons, and more.  Because there is such a variety of themes, some people tend to get frustrated when they draw a career card after asking for advice about their love life. But when we really contemplate the messages of the fairies (who can be a bit mischievous at times, but always loving beings), we might come to understand that perhaps the fairies are saying, "Hey, I know you want to delve into the aspects of your love life, but right now, your career is far more important to think about."  Or perhaps the fairies are indicating that you need to overcome work and career matters before you can settle in and focus on your love life properly.  Sometimes life prompts us to take care of a significant issue before we can move on to something else that we are trying to give attention to.

If you were to draw the Marriage card, but you were asking about money matters, this can be an indication that a partnership and commitment are the things you needed to improve a financial situation.  Or . . . maybe you are conducting your life in such a way that you are figuratively "married to your job" or you are emphasizing money and material things too much in your life, and the fairies are asking you to focus on a particular relationship in your life that is important to you.  Perhaps you are taking someone for granted and need to pay more attention to the relationship aspects of your life before you can solve your money issues.  The point is that we don't have to take everything literally just because a particular theme on the card is one we would naturally associate with a familiar concept such as marriage, children, work, money, etc.

Due to the themes of the cards, this does make for an excellent forecast deck to use for annual, bi-annual, or monthly forecasts . . . or even to draw a card each day to see where you need to focus for that given day.  Each person may find her or his own special ways to use this deck, and that is what an oracle is supposed to do -- to let each user find his own path in working with the cards . . . a method and process that is right for each individual, which may differ from the methods of another person.
